Cal Yacht Club Sept 1 Wed Night Races : This is the next-to-the-last race in this year's Sunset Series. Winds and waves were very moderate; making for a slow race but excellant photos. In some cases, I have included photos that are slightly blurred or off-center. Many of these can be improved by downloading them and cropping or using the Sharpen control on software such as Photoshop and you're permitted to do this, free-of-charge. If you want to download and print the images appearing on your screen, you may do so at no cost by simply right-clicking an image. This will produce nice prints up to about postcard size; and they're what you might want to send t friends and relatives. However, if you want to make prints from the high-resolution originals (most are more than 5 megapixels and will blow up to 16x20 or 20x24, or enjoy even smaller prints that are the ultimate in quality, then you'll have to order the prints through Smugmug. This is the only way I can maintain ownership of the high res images in case I want to enter them in a contest or use them in a book some day.

Cal Yacht Club June 1 Wed Night Races : This is from the California Yacht Club's Sunset Series Wednesday night races. In some cases, I have included photos that are slightly blurred or off-center. Many of these can be improved by downloading them and cropping or using the Sharpen control on software such as Photoshop and you're permitted to do this, free-of-charge. The only restriction is that you can't download the full 4-5 meg images that you would want for enlargements of 8x10 or above. If you do want large enlargements, you can either buy them at the site or contact me about getting use of the 4-5 meg images.

Cal Yacht Club May 4 Wed Night Races : These shots were taken from the Committee Boat on a cloudy, blustery evening. Due to the clouds and the time of the year, the light was fading fast and the sky was solid grey. Pictures that I'll take later in the series when there is more light and clear skies will be much better.

2005 Champagne Series Races : These photos were taken during the recent Champagne Cup yacht races in Marina del Rey, CA. There are some shots that may not have been selected were this a gallery to show off my skills, but they're included because they may be the only action photos race participants may have of themselves and their boats.
